Running into ex and his new girl

I ran into my ex yesterday unexpectedly and he was with his new girlfriend. I feel bad for her because he’s an abusive person (physically and mentally) and only cares about himself. I hope she doesn’t go through any of the things he did to me because I have to live with those traumatic memories for the rest of my life. I didn’t deserve the things that happened to me.
