Inconsistent contractions. Anyone else have this? How long until they evened out?

Mine were never consistent until the final stages of labour! I went into the hospital and they thought I maybe was in the early stages of labour...but I was 6 cm. Everyone is different. Definitely call your doctor or hospital and ask what they want you to do.
