It means that you're measuring a little bit ahead, but still within normal range.
The amount of cm should correlate to the amount of weeks. I've consistently measured ahead by about the same amount. It's just how I carry.
They keep track bc if you're measuring really small or really large, it could indicate IUGR or Gestational Diabetes.
