Just a question .

Have a doctor ever gave y’all the wrong due date like said you was 32 weeks but was really 35 weeks? Or the wrong size for the baby the doctor tells you your baby is 4pounds but really 5 or 6?

My due date is off. My high risk office did an early saying scan, my reg ob office did not. At one office I’m 31 weeks at another in 35 weeks. It’s super confusing and frustrating.

The due date should be pretty accurate. Measurements of baby are just estimates so they can be off

My previous OB office didn't believe me when I told them I ovulated very late that cycle and so the due date was ahead by a week which wasn't an issue until I was induced at what they claimed was 40 weeks and my body wasn't ready. And they were also off with what they thought she'd weigh, she was a pound over their estimate. But weight estimate mistakes happen all the time, it's not an exact science.

Wrong size right before birth, yes. It happened to me and is a fairly common occurrence. Wrong gestational age is pretty much not going to happen with the exception of being off by a couple of days, but not by weeks, once you have your early dating scan.

You’re due date wouldn’t be wrong but baby can measure bigger or smaller, you’re due date is based off your last period. As far as weight, they’re only estimated. Ultrasounds can be wrong up to 2 pounds either way.
