Hi ladies,

Please tell me your views , I was meant to get induced at 37 weeks because of antibodies in my blood . They had booked me for induction on Sunday afternoon on 21/2/21. They tried Cervical ripening balloon catheter on same day . Left that in for 12 hours but it didn’t do anything . After that they advised me that I have to wait till birthing units available to get next procedure done which will be breaking my water and putting drip on to encourage the labour pain . I am waiting here in hospital more than 34 hrs to get me room so they can do next procedure. They said they don’t even know how long there will be wait to get room and midwife . I am in a public hospital which is one of the biggest hospital of west Melbourne. Please advise is this normal induction process, I am siting here from 3 days and nothing happening .
