To do IUI or go straight to IVF??

Our back story is so long, but to sum up.. we are 6 years TTC #1

My husband has high numbers but low motility. In addition, last year we found out I have stage 4 endo, a blocked tube and a heart shaped uterus. I had surgery, they corrected my uterus and I did a 6 month treatment on Lupron. My tube is still blocked but in January we were given the all clear to start trying again on 500mg metformin/50mg Clomid.

No success yet, after second cycle. Next month I have a uterine biopsy to see exactly when I’m ovulating and I just know they’re going to suggest IUI.

The thing is, at my doctor... Each IUI is $3,500. I know the success rate of doing just one it pretty low so I’m really torn on whether we should go straight to IVF which is 20k after medications. The standard for IUI is three time, but if it doesn’t work... we’ve wasted all that money and would still have to come up with the 20k.

Just so damn frustrating. Never in a million years did I think this would be my road to being a mama 😢
