6 week ultrasound??

Does this look normal for a 6 week ultrasound. I have never had one this early. Also they didnt even take blood? Why would that be?

Yup! This was my little one at 6 weeks, transvaginal and very zoomed in. So that’s normal. and my office didn’t take blood to confirm the pregnancy either. No reason when you have gotten a positive test.

I’m surprised they did an ultrasound so early for this very reason. It’s just confusing and can be scary to not see much. 
Also, I’ve been pregnant several times and they don’t take blood as a rule. Usually just when necessary, like recurrent miscarriages or something.

I had one at 6w5d me and the ultrasound tech was shocked to see my daughter(she’s 7 days old) yep looks like a normal ultrasound at 6w and I didn’t get my first blood drawn till 9w
