39 weeks today & woke up feeling like crap. Back pain, crampy, diarrhea & lots of pelvic pressure. I’ve been having sporadic contractions and losing pieces of my mucous plug for the past 3 days. I had my appointment this morning and have been stuck at 1cm & 80% for 3 weeks. My doctor stripped my membranes and said that baby’s head is extremely low and she highly doubts I will make it to my due date next Tuesday. I’ve been SO crampy and having even more pressure since my appointment. I’m really hoping he comes this week but also know babies can be stubborn! If you had a membrane sweep, what was your experience (i.e. if it worked, how soon did you go into labor?)
