Just checking in to make sure I’m not crazy here.

My mother in-law has booked a family trip for father in laws birthday. It is literally 1 month postpartum. It would be at least a 5 hour drive (with no baby). It’s a nice cozy cottage and I’m less concerned about them being comfortable with a baby crying all night as I am for the well-being of myself and baby. My husband expects us to go hiking/kayaking while family babysits.

I mentioned the possibility of csection/tearing and other issues and the answer I get is “well obviously”.

Am I just worrying too much?
