4 days post fresh embryo transfer

Transferred what the embryologist called a “perfect embryo” on Saturday. It’s now Wednesday. Yesterday I felt pressure and a weird feeling in one side that was periodic but this morning I feel normal like no symptoms. I’m nervous that I should be feeling something?? Any advice??

Don't look for symptoms. You had a fresh transfer, so that means you're also recovering from an egg retrieval. Clearing up if symptoms is normal. Try not to look into it. Good luck!

Thank you! It’s so hard not to symptom check no matter how much you tell yourself not to. Darn the 2ww!!😩

It's so hard not to symptom spot but honestly other than some mild on and off cramping I didn't have any symptoms until after 7/8 weeks. Even then they were mild. Try and stay positive! Good luck!

Hi Pat! Congrats on the perfect embryo! 🥳 that’s awesome. My 2 ww after fresh transfer was agony. I didn’t feel much other than pain/heaviness around my left ovary. I had my obgyn check and found that I had fluid in my cavity from the ivf stimulation. She said as long as I don’t suddenly gain something like 6 pounds it should resolve itself. I didn’t experience symptoms much either and it drove me INSANE. The 2ww is soooo tough. Hang in there!
