Mucus plug or discharge

I had a cervical check on Monday and had very tiny spotting. I was 2cm and 70% effaced. Then today (Wednesday morning) I had this discharge. I did have a contraction while at the doctors on Monday. Do you think this is my mucus plug or just discharge from the check?
