Thoughts on night nannies? Has anyone used one???

Just wondering if they are worth the cost when still breastfeeding....? Would love to know the advantages from those who have used them. Dying to get some extra sleep!

My baby pretty much only woke up when she needed to eat. So I’m not sure a night nanny would help much if you’re breastfeeding?

If your baby wakes up to eat, you also then need to burp and likely change a diaper before putting them back down. How much time will you be awake for this one feed? An hour?  
If you opt for a night nanny, consider pumping during the night feeding. Nanny can take care of baby, and even the pump parts and bottles so you can minimize your wake time. 
Is a night nanny worth it?  Only you can decide that.

It depends on how your baby is, eg does baby nurse and go back to sleep or is up all night crying? And, are you working to where resting during the day is impossible?  I have a friend who used one I think 3x a week because she was in a doctoral program and really couldn't rest during the day and needed some sleep to focus, and her husband is a dr so he can't be sleep deprived and still do his procedures on patients. But if baby basically wakes up to eat and goes back to sleep, then a nanny isn't going to make much of a difference.
