When to my doctors appointment yesterday, they decided to go ahead and send me to the hospital to start induction. Why? Because they were afraid I’d become preeclamptic, had been having high bp issues.

Well I’ve been here since 6:30 pm yesterday, started on cervital (that was painful going in holy heck) they took it out around 6:30 am this morning.

Been having contractions every 1-2 mins apart since about 4:30 am.

I was dilated a 1 cm for the past 3 weeks, and in the last 6-7 hours I’ve become 2 cm. They just started my pitocin at 10:00 am, hoping that will cause more dilation and cause my cervix to come down and face the right way.

The doctor said my cervix is just in a very odd position and doesn’t want to break my water yet until the possibility of it changing.

I’m getting that dang epidural before I get cervix checked again and water broken.

I’m hoping this boy won’t have me waiting for a long time to hold him.
