If you claim yourself less taxes will be taken out of your checks, while if you put 0 more taxes will be taken out, but you’ll get a bigger refund at the end of the year. I personally always put 1 and claim myself.

I do 0 so that I get a tax return at the end of the year. It’s just preference on wether you’d rather get a tax return or possibly come out even or owe a bit. I’d rather get the one lump sum cuz it helps me plan for vacation budgets however I know people that would rather come out even or owe a little since they think of over paying in taxes as an “interest free loan to the government” or just would rather do something with that little extra money through out the year. Just be careful you don’t accidentally have them take out too little and then you owe a bunch at the end of the year.
