Hi everyone! So I just had my 20 week anatomy scan, they found a small spot near the babies heart which they explained as a shadow or a dark spot. The OB did not seem too concerned at all however did want me to have a repeat anatomy scan done with an MFM to make sure that everything is fine. I did have my first trimester screening where they test for any birth defects such as down syndrome etc. that all came back perfect score which shows zero to no indications of possibilities of down syndrome or any chromosomal abnormalities. The OB said the baby looks healthy and well otherwise.

Naturally I’m freaking out, I’ve had two pregnancies before this and have never experienced anything like this, even though the OB thinks everything will be fine I just wanted to see if anyone here has had this and what the outcome was for you?? if you can share any insight, that would be great! I’d really appreciate it, love the worried mama to be! ❤️
