I am 6 weeks postpartum I had 2nd degree tears inside and outside I was supposed to go to the dr today to get cleared but I couldn’t make my apt  and I won’t be able to go for another 1 week so 8week check 
Is it safe to have sex again??

Wait to be cleared. I wasn't seen until 7 weeks PP. They checked my tear (second degree internal and external) and made sure my cervix has closed properly. The cervix closing is the important part. If your cervix is still open, it allows bacteria into your uterus. You don't want that. Wait for the PP check.

Id just wait another week and make sure you get fully cleared
