I love my cat. So much.

The past few months he’s started spraying everywhere in the house. I’m spending hours a day trying to track down and clean the pee out of everything. I have asthma, and it is making me so sick.

He’s been neutered for years. He’s marking in the bedroom, the office, the living room, the basement. There are no bounds for what he won’t pee on.

I’ve been up since 2am, trying to track down and clean the rancid pee smell.

Yes, I’ve taken him to the vet. They said he’s fine, he’s just stressed out. I don’t know how to make him any less stressed out. But I’m now that person who smells like cat pee.

I’ve tried all the vets suggestions. I even got feliway. It does nothing. I’ve tried playing in the areas where he’s been marking. I’ve tried feeding him in the areas. Nothing is working!! I’m desperate. I can’t keep living like this.

Every time I think I’ve got it under control, he just goes and sprays somewhere else.

This is effecting my relationship with my husband. We’re both tired and disgusted by everything being covered in pee.

Who has gone through this? What was the ultimate outcome? I’m out of ideas. I feel so defeated. Please help 😭
