What happened to just being kind for the heck of it? What happened to being supportive of others despite differences? What happened to caring about others as much as yourself? What happened to being the friendly neighbor? What happened to common kindness and helpfulness? Today at the grocery store, a woman walked in front of me and my baby saying, “excuse you.” To me. I tried to shake it off, but then on the drive home someone almost ran into me changing lanes because they didn’t look. I honked to let them know I was there and slowed down so they could get in. We pull up to the light and she flips me off. Like what the heck? You don’t know how to drive safely and you flip me off? Not to mention you would have hit the side my baby is on? She is dang lucky she didn’t otherwise mama bear....either way. I’m from the south and moved up north, I don’t know if has changed since I left, but everyone was so kind and caring. Here they only think of themselves and it just makes me so sad....
