I have an important question to ask.

I watched all of season 1 back in like 2012 and was like ehhh ok then I got high one day and started season 2 and binged the whole season because it had me TRIPPING. My bf and I watched atla together and he liked it. My question is do you think he will understand season 2 if we skip season 1 of LoK? Or is there too many korra references? I honestly can’t remember
