I’m almost 19 weeks and starting to get things organised for my baby shower

My mother is a professional cake maker and has said from the beginning she wants to make the cake, which is fine

This afternoon she asked me what I wanted to cake to be like and I told her, I’d had this idea in my head ever since I found out it was a boy, but she basically brushed it off, told me it was shit, and started googling photos and showing me things I didn’t want and didn’t ask for

I just don’t know why she can’t let me have this, she’s always been the ‘my opinion is the best and only one’ kind of person but she’s literally trying to run the whole thing and I’m just struggling with it 😕
