Post PCOS & Plant based

Hey!

When I was in my years teenage years, my period was so irregular and with a family history of PCOS my mum took me to see a specialist!

She told me that I had PCOS and that when it came time for me to want to have children to go and see her.

When my wife and I had decided we were ready, we went and seen my GP and had ultrasound scans done just to see where my PCOS was at and if I needed to do anything to help prep my body.

When my GP got my results she told me that my test came up clean and my ovaries were perfectly normal. I was so shocked. She said that apart from my cycle being a little longer (38 days) there was so reason I should have been clinically diagnosed with PCOS.

She asked me if I'd had any drastic changes and I told her the only thing that had changed was that I was completed plant based for 2 years and just a little more active. She did some research and spoke to her colleagues and she had found out that plant based diets can reverse the effects of PCOS!

Has anyone had a similar experience?!
