Absent Nasal Bone

Hi everyone. I just went through my 12th week ultrasound and the doctor detected absent nasal bone in my child . She just suggested to go for a further test to diagnose accurately by double marker test and the reports are due in a couple of days . It has got me too worried now and as it’s a sign of a Down syndrome in a child. My heart is aching and I feel so helpless at the moment. Though waiting for the tests but I just wanted to know if anyone has gone through the same situation and how did that turn out .
