How old was your baby when you started going out for some alone time?

I dont mean by working. I mean like going for a little date night or enjoying your time alone somewhere besides home.

We had our son December 16, and we went to dinner and out for a couple hours with friends on December 31.  Baby was left at home with my mom.  We needed it!  He was safe, and we were happy.  We did date nice once a month from then on our...then the pandemic happened 😂😂😂

I started going to get my nails done again when my baby was 2 or 3 weeks old.

I would normally just have alone time by sleeping for an hour maybe less every 3-4 months while a family member watched my son for me tbh I'd rather take sleep as an "alone time" than going out any day but that's just me I love my sleep 😂

6 months. And never gone longer than 2 hrs till he was around 15 months. Still at 2.5 we haven’t done an overnight but we have that planned for April!

Over a year old before we ever went on a date by ourselves and even then we were gone less than an hour lol

After they became a year old. I breastfeed so it was kinda hard to go anywhere . Now I did run for some errands as long as they were under 2 hours while the baby slept with gigi.

My youngest is 15 months old and ive only been away from him 5x lol and he's only spent the night away twice

My son is 18 months and I haven’t left him longer than to run to the grocery store for 15-20 minutes or for a medical appointment yet.

i did a little here and there up until my son was about 4-5 months old and then he was on his own schedule with me and constantly awake during the day so he was my responsibility to take care of i felt like. my husband was also deployed so i felt less obligated to spend time on my own because i was asking my mom and dad to watch him so i could spend an hour or two out but honestly would rather have someone come over and spend the down time just relaxing. he’s almost 2 now and my husband is back from deployment but has a demanding work schedule so i still don’t really do anything on my own unless my son is asleep or i have a doctors appointment (second baby) 
don’t feel guilty for spending some time away from your baby. it’s hard but not practicing self care and self love can sometimes be harder!
