Did your doctor say you should get the Covid vaccination while breast feeding?

My doctor and my pediatrician recommended I get it. Myself and my oldest are high risk, plus I have a 20 month old and a 9 week old. I got my first dose and all is good so far.

I believe in science and medicine. I've worked in the field, studied it thirstily and loved every moment of it. 
That being said, the risk is just too high for me at the moment. There just isnt enough longitudinal data available that would serve as encouragement that it is safe. Considering the vaccine has been on the market for just a few short months when most drugs/vaccines have been actively tested for a decade, it just falls short. 
In addition, while I understand how serious covid can be for certain demographics, there has been an element of hysterics that has surrounded this. I've seen people lose their lives to this condition....I've also seen a vast majority recover within a week. I've seen people suffer long lasting symptoms....I've also seen a vast majority recover fully within 14 days. Whenever hysterics come into play, one should proceed with caution. Human beings historically tend to come together under an idea and then run with it...sometimes with bad results. It's a by product of an echo chamber. Think...the Salem witch trials. A select few were able successfully to terrorize an entire group of people into thinking their friends and neighbors were witches and then proceeded to burn them at the stake. Thinking the whole time "yeah, this totally makes sense...we need to protect ourselves". While the comparison isnt an exact match, there is enough of a similarity there within the thought process to give one pause. 
Look, just my 2 cents knowing all risks. You feel free to do whatever you think is best for you and your family.

I actually got mine while pregnant primarily bc I work in healthcare. the vaccines has been shown to prevent moderate to severe symptoms, and most important of all hospitalizations. I don't ever want to get sick and not be there for my family, plus get to pass on all the antibodies to my baby. this pandemic will not end if we don't get vaccinated. the science is there- just looking at current drops in case numbers show we need more vaccinations. the covid-19 is here to stay like the flu, and I suspect we'll need annual vaccines as well.

I can get it bc I work in healthcare.  But I don’t want to get it until there is long term studies done on the effects.  I posted a similar question a couple weeks ago and everyone who responded who had it talked about the immediate after effects.  I want to know if it’s going to effect us months and years from now!  Holding off

I was told by 2 of 3 medical professionals to wait. I could of had it last month with 2nd dose this weekend (educator in school full time) and I asked.  I'm not thrilled waiting as my husband was told by his Dr to not get it due to a condition. But...here we are. I'll reassess when my little man is older than 2 weeks.
