Chemical pregnancy experiences? Help!

Hi, I’m currently going through a chemical pregnancy. Tested positive last Monday, tests all turned negative last Wednesday. I’m now 9 days over my predicted period which is usually bang  on time. I’ve so far had no bleeding at all. Has anyone else experienced this take so long?
I’m getting quite concerned what’s going on ☹️

So sorry to read you have suffered a chemical pregnancy, I’ve also had 1 well 2. January 2021 I had a positive clear blue digital test at 16dpo within 2 days of the positive I started bleeding, went to the doctor as it was very heavy and he did a pregnancy test which came back negative. He did say after bleeding stopped it can take 2-4 weeks for my cycle to get back on track.  Within 2 weeks I had a positive ovulation digital test so we decided to keep trying. February 2021 I again got a positive and again 2 days later the bleeding started. Gutted was an understatement again my cycle was back on track within 2 weeks. I’m now 4dpo and praying this month is our month. Being 39 I know it can take longer to conceive. I wish you the best of luck x

Hmm. A chemical pregnancy would normally be "diagnosed" by bleeding after a bfp rather than just by the tests turning negative I would think? 
Are you 100% definitely super sure it was a positive test? When did you last test negative was it recently? If so I'd definitely call your doctor. It's not good for you to be left in limbo and it's already such a difficult thing to go through without actually knowing what is going on in there.

Yes it will take your body some days to go back to normal. The good news is it shows you can get pregnant. 
I had success 3 months after.

In my experience my chemical pregnancy resulted in my period starting that same day I got a positive test and that’s how I knew it was a chemical pregnancy. Have you not bled at all? Perhaps it was just a false positive? Maybe continue to test every few days until you get a positive or a period. ❤️

Hi can I ask did your period come I got positive on Saturday and then positive digital on Sunday have taken loads of test there all basically negative now maybe a vvfl but I haven’t started bleeding did your period return?
