Racist family!!
So Im getting married next month and this has been on my chest for the longest time but today was the last straw and I’m not changing my opinion
My husbands family is racist to everyone. When my husband and I were dating he met my family a year after we started dating and I was hoping I would meet his but he refused. When I first met them they were shocked and the night was super tense and weird I bought a dish with me (homemade apple pie ) and no one NO ONE touched my dish
My first sight was when his mother saw me “oh ...oh your name doesn’t fit your look” my name is Megan
I brushed it off his father didn’t say a word to me she just grunted and talked about how this world is going out down the drain
His sister Just looked at me sideways
And his other sister asked about my I’m so big !!
I’m a curvy woman ain’t got no shame in it
I told her that I’m full of love
Later that night my husband wouldn’t stop apologizing but I told him it’s fine and I’m try to work my way in to their hearts I had hope about this fast worst to this year in December I found out I was pregnant when we’re already gonna be married in April but now we have to squeeze one my person in the the mix. Last week we went over to dinner and I had a gift bag for everyone 2,1 mother ,1 father
After dinner I gave everyone the bags and at the same time they all pulled out their own onesies that raged from can’t wait to meet you aunty to can’t wait to meet you grandma and cat wait to meet you grandpa
Everyone was quiet then his father said “ well he’ll be one smart monkey. “ he sister snickered
My chest hurt to much my ears were hot and I was getting cold and hot flashes all at once my ears were ringing. I told my husband that I was ready to go home and that I was feeling a bit nauseous.
Later that night I told my husband and his family was no longer allowed to come to the wedding. I cried to him and I told him that his this made me feel and how they are denying our child he said I can’t disinvite his whole family. This isn’t they first time when I showed them my wedding dress his mother said it wasn’t my color and I should pick something that fit my skin tone. It was a eggshell white dress
