When I started living with my hubby I knew his family dynamics was that he was going to expect me to be his slave despite working full time too. So I did fuck all. and I mean I made dinner and that was all.. very quickly he realised that to get things done he had to pitch in too! Since then I have never had to beg him to do a chore as long as I do my far share!!

Did you all talk about kids? If I were you id get a couples therapist or marriage councelor involved. A third person who can be objective to make sure both of u are being reasonable. I can not say he is being irrational because i dont know u or your life. He may very well have legitimate claims because there are two sides to every story. If what you say is true.... and u have a good grip on your mental health.... then if he doesnt come around id probably leave. I wouldnt want to parent with someone who seems to want the women to carry the bulk of the load. You do allllll that and pay half. Inpersonally think women should date financially successful men who can support their family on their income... especially if they dont like domestic work. So that way the women doesnt carry 70% of the work. You very well could feel like a single mother once u have a child if ur prtner is like u claim he is based off this post.

How can he ever expect to be a good husband and father when he can’t even do half the shit you do? I would tell him to step up his game, or you won’t be marrying him or having a family with him. You need things in your relationship to be equal. It’s so crazy how men want a working woman who also does everything in the home.
