Hello! My hubby and I have been TTC for over a year and a half now, and this is my first “abnormal” cycle. My cycles are almost always 30 days sometimes up to 33 (rarely). Today I’m on CD 32, supposedly 17 dpo. I wasn’t tracking anything this cycle, out of just wanting to do what we did our first and only cycle conceiving, which was not tracking anything and we conceived (and miscarried) that cycle.

So anyway, period was due CD 30, on 15 dpo (I usually get my periods 14/15 dpo). I’ve tested several times and all BFN’s. The only thing that’s out of the ordinary is that yesterday I used a q-tip to see if I would start my period soon (I’ve done this for years, to see if I need to wear a pad or not before the flow starts) and it had the tiniest dot of light pink, so I figured my period was coming. Then I did it again today because I still haven’t started my period or had my normal terrible period cramps, in the morning there was a verrrry light brown color on the q-tip but still nothing when I actually wiped. I checked again a few hours later, still the same light brown. Then when I checked now the q-tip has no color at all.

So there was an extremely light colored brown blood when I used a q-tip earlier, but nothing at all when I wipe. This hasn’t ever happened where there’s blood on the q-tip (usually when I get my period it’s an extremely bright red saturated q-tip right before my flow starts) and nothing on the toilet paper for two days.

I know I could’ve ovulated a few days late, it’s possible, but I’m wondering if this is implantation bleeding due to no actually blood when I wipe. But confused because of all the BFN’s! 😞

Any insight? With my first pregnancy I did not experience implantation bleeding, but did bleed throughout my pregnancy and ended miscarrying.
