Will an ovulation test show pregnancy?

I am late. CD37.. I did determine ovulation with my OPKs. I took two HPTs yesterday and today with negative results and for just the heck of it, took a ovulation test now that showed a dark second line. Will ovulation tests generally show a dark line right now when not fertile?

A lot of women get another LH surge right before their period. An opk can’t tell if you’re pregnant since they’re testing for two different hormones. Some women get a positive opk when they’re pregnant, but will usually get a positive pregnancy test. Only a pregnancy test can tell you if you’re pregnant. Good luck!
