Y’all are gonna be so mad at me for putting you through all this for nothing 🙈😂 We have decided to go with an ENTIRELY different name. We even tried to do a poll and we still were stuck because he really doesn’t like Violet for a first name. So, we have chosen the name—

Evie Mae

My husband is stuck on the name Nellie for a baby girl we’re adopting. It was his grandmother’s name. I’m obsessed with Violet and so is my whole family. I also like Mae because it’s my grandmother’s middle name. So, at first we were thinking Nellie Mae.. my family doesn’t really like Nellie and I’ve really been wanting to name her Violet soooo bad, but I don’t want to push him aside. Ugh 😩😩😩 any suggestions? The baby is due in May and ever since we set the date for the baby shower, I’ve been even more stuck on the name Violet because I was thinking of having a banner made that says, “April Showers Bring Mae Flowers,” and having the word “Flowers,” written in the color purple. My suggestion is Violet Mae.. his is Nellie Mae.. recently he said Nellie Violet, but I don’t think it sounds right together.. what do you guys think??
