I am a very mad momma right now, my son is about 10.5 months old and has had stomach issues since he was 2 weeks old, he would projectile vomit and his pediatrician would tell me “it’s normal for babies to spit up” so I gave up trying to explain it and measured and took pics he vomited over 5 foot distance, he also has constipatian and i I told her I thought it was lactose intolerance since I am also lactose intolerant and she told me that it wasn’t that because he didn’t have diarrhea, then at his next appointment I told Dr.quack that there is a family history of pyloric stenosis and she blew that off as well scheduling an ultrasound for 3 weeks from then, the following night he vomited again this time aspirating and stopped breathing, we are lucky my mil had him and got him to breathe again quickly, he was med fighted to Salt Lake City and have a bunch of testing done, they didn’t find anything wrong, we changed pediatrician starting at his 4 month appointment where we were told many times that he was not gaining enough weight the new dr tried many simple solutions before doing more testing as he did not want my boy to endure needles and a lot of dr visits if it could be avoided he also put him on similac sensitive which helped some but now much, he would still get horrible tummy aches and would throw up 2-3 times a week then finally, at his 9 month appointment his pediatrician told us to take him to an ENT to get allergy testing done where we found out that my baby is allergic to milk, which is why the sensitive formula only mildly helped so now he at changing his formula again to nutramigen.
