When to tell people?

I'm currently 6 weeks and 5 days with my first baby. I'm so excited to tell people but also worried about speaking too soon.
When are you planning to tell family/friends?

With my first 2 we told our families right away. This time we waited a couple days cause we ordered a onesie for my 3 month old. Social media my first was 12 weeks my second one was 9 weeks. And this time we’ll do it after our first appointment. Unfortunately anything can happen at any point during the pregnancy. 6 weeks, 20 weeks or even at 35 weeks something can happen so we wanna enjoy our baby with our friends and family.

I’m not telling anyone other than the father until May. I’ve had miscarriages before and while everything looks great so far I’m still apprehensive.

with my first i told everyone when i found out , this time i’m waiting till i go to my first ultrasound only some know. i go april 1st. everyone will probably think i’m playing a joke but i am indeed pregnant with baby # 2

With so many losses in my past I told everyone anyways as I needed the support so my close friends know now. Planning on telling our parents after our 8w ultrasound to know that everything checks out.

Probably just close family after the first ultrasound. No one else until 12 weeks. I don’t enjoy sharing my grief with the world because more often than not people just don’t understand.

Personally I feel like every baby should be celebrated. There will always be a chance of a loss, early in pregnancy or later. We plan to tell everyone around 10 weeks after our ultrasound with our doctor. (close to second trimester)

I’m telling grandparents within the next few weeks. Will probably wait until 6week blood draw to tell the rest of my husbands immediate family (he is 1 of 6). Then telling the world around 12-13 weeks and after 1st ultrasound.

Once our pregnancy is confirmed with blood tests and ultrasounds we will tell my parents, other than that everyone else can wait until the second trimester.
