Do you think that people can love more then one person at the same time?

I guess people who sadly lost their partners would still have love always.. On the other hand, my sister has been with her partner 3 years and she still loves this guy from before. I’m not sure how I feel about that, not that it matters. I just try to support her with whatever it is. Interested to see what others think!

There are lots of different kinds of love and I think the love you might still have a little of for an old boyfriend or something is a different kind of love than the love you have for your partner.
My ex and I were very good friends before we dated and the break up was mutual, we carry no ill feelings toward each other. He was with me through a lot and if I’m being completely honest, I will always feel some love for him. But it’s not the same kind of love I feel for my SO, it’s a more nostalgic love.

In a way sure I think you can. But if you haven’t agreed to polyamory then it’s very disrespectful to your current partner if you’re still hanging on to someone else. And you probably don’t really love your current partner as much as you think you do if your still pining over someone else. Sounds to me like your sister is just trying to put those feelings on her current boyfriend as if it will help her forget about the other guy, but that’s not how it works.

I know I couldn't once I'm gone I'm gone. I don't like half way things either in or out. But that's me, maybe it depends on what people expect from life. But I also expect the same from my husband if he is not sure then he is free to leave I don't share my place with no one.
