Watery Discharge?

Question

How much is normal? I am 19 weeks 1 day and the last two days I’ve experienced this discharge. It’s not leaking down my leg or anything but it’s definitely leaning a huge spot. Anyone else? I don’t remember it being like this with my sons.

Same thing happens to me. I wake up & get so worried that I have lost all my amniotic fluid sometimes. Then I remember that an increase in discharge is normal and as long as it isn’t soaking my bed or running down my legs at the end of the day I need not to worry! Might I mention that I have also rushed into my my OB for a same day appointment TWICE on separate occasions thinking I was leaking/losing all my amniotic fluid & each time it was completely normal discharge, no infections, and ultrasound showed my babies were fine swimming all around lol. I hope that may help ease your mind some. I know its nerve wrecking and you can never be too cautious mama! We have a life time to advocate for our babies & it definitely starts with them in the womb. Make sure you mention it to your OB but if I had to guess I’d say your fine ☺️

You’re further along than I am, I’ll be 18 weeks Monday, but I have a lot more discharge now than pre pregnancy. No indicators of an infection along with them so my midwife said it’s normal and honestly hasn’t told me any “warning signs” to look out for but from what I’ve read on leaking amniotic fluid, it should be a steady flow opposed to gushes of discharge. Leaking amniotic fluid is not super common either so that’s a relief! But I get it because it’s so hard to tell and is definitely worrisome. I get worried too! I feel like the best rule of thumb is if it’s ever a major concern definitely call your OB just to be sure and feel better 🖤
