Preemie baby milestones?

Ftm here so please don’t judge. My girl was born 1 month early due to preeclampsia. She didn’t have to go to the NICU at all. 
She’s now 9 months old and I’m beginning to worry about her development. She’s not clapping, waving or saying mama, dada, baba. Not crawling or pulling herself into a standing position. I already plan on contacting her ped but I’m just curious if anyone has any experience with situations like this and it’s possibly normal from being born early or if I should prepare myself for something being wrong. TIA💕

My daughter was born at 35 weeks. She didn’t crawl till 11 months or walk till 19 months. She said a few words here and there but as soon as she turned 2, she just took off talking. She now speaks in full sentences, 8/9 words strung together. She can name a bunch of colors, letters, make animal noises. Every baby is going to be different. Don’t worry too much mama

She is only 9 months old muma. Most babies don't start crawling u until about now and they don't usually say any words yet. I have 4 kids and only one of my babies crawled by 8 months old but the others were later. And there speach was later than that.

My son was born a month early. He didn’t start crawling until 10 months old and then once he learned how to crawl a couple weeks later he learned how to pull himself up. His pediatrician wasn’t t concerned at all she said he is doing really good developmentally as well. She had given me tips to help my baby learn crawling and pulling himself up and they actually helped him but it really was just being patient until he was ready to do it

All those skills have a wide range of normal. It’s good to check in with your pediatrician if you’re worried but her not doing those things at 9 months isn’t alarming to me at all.

it’s hard to really determine what milestones they should be hitting at that age because they’re so young. some are taking their first steps and others are just learning to pull themselves up. talking to her PED is a really good idea but in the meantime try not to stress over it too much. my son didn’t say anything until he was almost two and didn’t start hitting any milestones until 14-16 months but i swear as soon as he did he hit all of them within a month of each other ! it really felt like we blinked and he turned into a toddler

The thing is babies all go at their own pace every baby is different. My son was born at 36 wks and i worry about the same thing. Hes 4m and hes very alert wants to grab at everything,  likes looking at ppl and tv. He smiles and laughs, babbles, makes sounds that sound like mama, and tries to sit when i try but he has yet to roll over, and that worries me.

My son was also born one month early due to preeclampsia. He is 2 years 3 months old. He just started walking good this month and only says mama, hi and bye and maybe one or two other words(still not sure). He is in speech, physical, and occupation therapy and started those at 18 months.  He didn’t sit unassisted until after 6 months. Crawled at 11 months. Started pulling up at 14-16 months. Cruising furniture around 15-17 months. Started walking in between furniture around 17 months and has just now started walking unassisted at 2yrs 3 months. He first said mama between 12-14 months (can’t remember when). We are currently trying to teach him sign language in therapy but it’s not going to well. He didn’t eat baby food till after 12 months and has just really started to eat regular food really good now. We stopped baby food around 16-18 months. He picked up food to eat it at 18 months but is still picky about that. He is really delayed but is catching up finally. I thought he might be autistic but now I’m not so sure. We have another appointment in may to see but me and his pediatrician believe he is still just delayed. He started pointing around 16-18 months and started waving bye around 18-24 months. I feel like I’m forgetting some stuff but thats all I can think of for now. I’ve learned to just be patient with him and let him learn at his own pace but with a little therapy of course.
