When did you stop using a baby monitor ?

At what age did you stop using a baby monitor?

I use a video/audio monitor still with my 3 almost 4 year old. She can call for me if she needs anything and she loves the walkie talkie part of it. 
We live in a one story house with her across the home from the master. yeah I'm pretty paranoid and helps me have peace of mind 🤷‍♀️

Still use a video and audio with my almost 3 year old. But plan to just go to audio after baby 2 arrives so we can use that monitor in the nursery. 
Our oldest isn’t great with knob style doors so he can’t get us if he needs help.

Around 3yrs old, my daughter started crying because of the light on the camera.
I removed it and she was fine and goes to bed without issues.
She's big enough to open her bedroom door on her own to come find me or her father if she needs. Our house is small enough that I can hear if she starts crying.

I still use one with my 4 year old sometimes. She has night terrors although she’s outgrowing them. I don’t always turn it on - she’s very capable of coming to get me. But sometimes if she has a night terror she’ll cry and not come get me. At least not for awhile. Breaks my heart. So I get peace of mind knowing i can see and hear her. So I set it to alternate between my 4 year old and my 2 year old. My 2 year old isn’t that great with door knobs yet. So I’m afraid if she woke up she might struggle to come find me. Anyways that got very long winded. But I still use it with my 2 and 4 year old most of the time. But I don’t obsess over it. If I hop in the shower and can’t hear it for a bit, I’m not too worried anymore.
