Discouraged

Jaclyn

I’m 33 years old, my first LO is almost 4. We tried for three years to get pregnant with her and for 2.5 years never had a single positive test. After 1.5 years of trying we sought out an infertility specialist and everything came back normal so the last option was laparoscopy- it was discovered I had mild endometriosis, they lasered it, and gave me 6mo to get pregnant or we would be diagnosed with the “unexplained infertility” and would be encouraged to explore IVF. Three months later I got pregnant- smooth pregnancy, no issues. But here we are 8 months into trying for baby number two with no success yet. I’m so worried we are going to have the same issue. I don’t know whether to try to make an appointment with my infertility specialist again or just keep trying. I don’t know how much longer we will keep trying or what we will be interested in doing if we have to seek a specialist. It’s such an emotional rollercoaster. Do you think we will have to go through all the testing again or do you think they will check me again right away for endometriosis since I have a history of it? Any supplements, or vitamins any of you felt helpful to when TTC? Thank you!
