Anyone experienced this ?

Question

I have canker sores on my gum and one on my inner lip my doctor told me to rinse with salt water and have me ibuprofen . But the outside of my mouth itches is this normal? I have no sores on the outside of my mouth.

Not sure why the outside would itch, it’s probably unrelated. But yes warm salt water is a good disinfect.
