I’ve had Nexplanon for almost two years and I still bleed like crazy! I go maybe a week, if I’m lucky the full three weeks without bleeding heavy but for the most part I bleed constantly.

I’ve been hesitant to get it removed because it’s such an effective birth control and I don’t have to worry about it shifting or moving.

But now I’m debating switching to a copper IUD since it has no hormones.

My only concern well one of them at least is, the possibility of it shifting during intercourse or something of that sort.

Can anyone help me by sharing their experience if they’ve switched from Nexplanon to the IUD (any of them) and how it affected their sex life as well as period?
