Has anyone gone from only 1 centimeter to delivering the next day?

I know it’s technically possible to fully dilate all in one day but I’m just wondering if anyone had every experienced it?
Passed my due date 40+4 only 1 centimeter dilated can’t even do sweep. 😕

I was 0cm at 40days exactly. I was 80% effaced though. Still couldn't get a sweep. I went to my OB appt at 9am & afterwords I went home. Contractions started and by the night they were really strong. I went to the hospital & when I got there they said I was only 2cm and had to go home. Well...I'm walking out of the hospital and my water breaks. I walk back to L&D and I went to 5cm. They nearly get me back to my room & I was a 10cm. Literally from the time I got to my car and back, I went from a 2cm to a 10cm and baby was out...it was like 20mins. It was scary and insane all at the same time.

I was 0cm on a Tuesday, in labour Thursday and gave birth Friday

I was 1cm on a Monday and asked the doctor if it was okay to drive an hour away to pick my MIL up from the airport the next day and he said “Yeah, that’s no problem. You’re not going into labor without being induced.” 
I went into labor that night and had her the next afternoon.

I was 1cm when I got examined and had my daughter 8 hours later

I was 1cm Monday at 3:30 pm at my appointment and my after broke about 6 am Tuesday morning had her before dinner

It really depends on baby I was at 5 from 34 weeks up until I was induced so it's hard to say
