Is this normal for a teenager?

My son has randomly become super distant. I'm not sure why. He doesn't talk to most of the family anymore. He stays in his room constantly. Mainly in bed. He doesn't even play on his Xbox anymore, he just rather stay in bed all day. Every time I ask if something is wrong he gives me a half assed no and walks away. Idk if this is normal teenage behavior or if I should be concerned.
