Cervic cerclage and preterm delivery?

Has any mommas had a cervical cerclage? What was your outcome, did you still have baby early?

I had one my first pregnancy an delivered at 40 +2. They have done one for this pregnancy but I am only 17 weeks so far. Hoping for another term baby.

I had a cerclage placed at 23 weeks my last pregnancy and delivered early at 29 weeks due to preeclampsia. I’m currently 19 weeks and I’m having a cerclage placed on Tuesday my cervix is at 13mm. Hopefully I carry this baby to term but I don’t think so.

I’m currently 21 weeks and had a preventative stitch placed at 15 weeks due to my history with preterm labor. I had an emergency cerclage with my firstborn at 23 weeks but I ended up with an infection and gave birth to him at 24.5 weeks. He spent close to 3 months in the NICU. He will be 4 this summer with no health issues. My cervix measured 3.5 cm at my last appointment. I’m also on vaginal progesterone.
