How much longer?

Question

I was 3 cm dilated at my appointment Tuesday and 50%effaced. I’m 37 weeks. I’ve lost my mucus plug. When would you guess I’ll go into labor?

could be tomorrow, could be next week, could be in 4 weeks.

Hard to say, you can be dilated and effaced for weeks, and mucus plug regenerates, could be soon could be weeks away

I was told Effacement is more important than dilation .  You could be 90% effaced and 0 dilation and go into labor in no time .

I lost my plug, was dilated to a 3 and effaced for 4 weeks before I had my son. I hadn’t lost my plug and was only dilated to a 1 for 2 weeks when I went into labor with my daughter. So honestly it’s very hard to say unfortunately 😕
