I got my paragard last Friday (March 26), and today March 30 I am still bleeding. Also randomly today I started having severe pain on my left side of my uterus and my back.like a 12 on the scale from1-10 pain level. I took 600 mg of ibuprofen and it got better but didn’t go away completely until 5 hours later. Every now and then I feel some pain but it’s now like a 3/4 pain scale when it does hit me. I checked and th strings are still there(I have a speculum and could see them, none of the actual device is coming out from what I can tell). So idk if this pain is from the paragard or if something else is going on. Hoping it didn’t detach from the string and go through my uterus and get lost and that’s what I was feeling.🤦‍♀️ I’m probably just paranoid...Anybody experienced this?!

Also it hurts my husband when we have sex. He can feel the strings I guess. I could feel something uncomfortable too the first night in a certain position. Does that get better? ?
