They are a back up plan that they can use and abuse. Loneliness and desperation is why they stick around. They tolerate the bs because they don’t want to be alone. Often times they use guilt and manipulation and mind games to keep the ball in their court. They do the minimal while the woman does the maximum and basically chases after him. He makes her feel like she’s not enough, makes her feel insecure etc. basically he’s a dick and she’d rather have that than nothing at all. She Settles for less than she deserves

I’m one of those good women and I don’t know why it keeps happening, I definitely don’t sit around and allow it. I leave but I still pick the shitty ones. 
Maybe I need to work on my judgement skills and maybe start being more judgmental than trying to see good in everyone.
