How long are you going to try?

Question

We have 2 babies - a 5 and 2 to.  I had 2 losses between my babes, and a loss last September at 9+ weeks.  We decided to try one last time, and we haven’t had any luck.  How long until do we try?  41 seems young and old - I just don’t know.

I’m 42, 43 this summer. We started ttc in May 2014, had losses in 2015 & 2016, had 3 failed IUI’s in 2018 and nothing since despite constant ovulation testing, sex around ovulation and monthly disappointment for years. Was finally accepting it would never happen, must have gotten too old, and while not happy was resigned. Then boom pregnant without trying, currently 5w2d and really hoping all goes well. It can happen!

I’m very similarly, two kids almost 5 and almost 2, started trying in Dec for #3 and just got a positive test a few days ago. I also had two miscarriages in between my daughters. I’m 40, turning 41 in July and hoping this one sticks. The things I noticed were different this past cycle is I switched to no caffeine or a little bit of organic decaf and I used the blue OPK.
