Hi all,

I am seriously concerned about the antibiotic metronidazole. I’ve been prescribed this for 5 days to take twice a day and have noticed a drastic turn in how I feel mentally. It’s bank holiday weekend so I don’t think I can get it changed and I’m already on day 4 but I’ve never felt as depressed as I do now.

Has anyone else experienced this? I keep breaking down into tears and before I seek help I’m wondering if it’s the drug that’s causing it!
