How long was your anatomy scan?

I had an interesting experience this morning and curious to see how long others anatomy scans took. Thanks!

With my daughter, it took almost 1.5 hours. She was not cooperating and we had to retake a ton of pics. This time around I believe it was around 30 minutes but he was really scrunched up in there so I had to go back for another 10 minute visit for a few shots.

Mine was yesterday and too forever because baby kept movjng. She said she’s required to get a certain list of photos. We saw the 4 chambers of the heart but she could only ever get a photo of 3. After trying and trying she finally told me I’d have to come back to try again.
With my first two kids I swear we were in and out in 10 minutes though!!

About 75minutes.  She was being stubborn and they only needed a couple more images.

Last anatomy scan i had was with my 4th baby and it was about 45 minutes. The doc said it should be the same this time around as well.

Our first scan was almost an hour. She was sleeping and didn’t feel like moving at all. I had to rollover on both sides and they were pushing on my stomach to try to get her to move. When we came back for the second one she wouldn’t stop moving which made it harder for them to get the pictures they needed. That appointment was over an hour.

Mine is supposed to be 10-15min on the 15th because I have a doctor's appointment right after but who knows if it will go over.

“Baby is cooperating and these pictures are perfect. She’s measuring right where she’s supposed to be. I’m flying through this.” 
They booked an hour, but it took 10-15 minutes, maybe?

Sonography here. Usually your time slot is anywhere from 20mins to an hour, but it varies from place to place. If you’re high risk or getting a scan through MFM for any other reason, it will be more like 45 mins to 1 1/2 hours. An OB office is usually on the shorter end, 20-45mins. This includes time for them to prep the room, do paperwork after, etc. maybe a few more mins due to Covid now. These are estimated times and it may take a little longer or shorter due to baby’s cooperation, but most will just bring you back later to finish up if it’s taking too long.
