Has anyone else had a c-section under general anesthesia

So I'm 27weeks and 3 days and I'm considered high risk. I have preexisting blood pressure hypertension, type 2 diabetes, and a subchorionic hematoma. They are concerned that something could happen and I would need a c-section but, the problem is I am allergic to bupivacaine, novacaine, lidocaine, and essentially they entire family medicine. If you didn't know these are what they use in an epidural. So I can not have an epidural so if I have to have a c-section I have to undergo general anesthesia but I also plan to breastfeed and I'm concerned about how long it will take me to wake up from the anesthesia and how long my babies first feeding can be put off and just wondering if anyone else has had to undergo general anesthesia for a c-section and what their overall experience was. Also no one in my family has had a c-section and I'm the second person in my friend group to give birth and my friend had a vaginal birth so I really have no one to ask

Edit: since many people are asking yes the spinal block is the same medication just administored differently so it's not an option either it's also the same medication used to numb you if you need sutures if you tear during a vaginal birth as well as the same medication used to numb you at the dentist and is in most topical creams for things like rashes and burns as well as things like orajel, Neosporin, and some cough drops so unfortunately this allergy makes it very difficult in day to day life and pain management because it's so commonly used in everything and only about 1% of people world wide are allergic
