GBS/Group B positive

Third pregnancy but my first time testing positive & of course google is not the most reassuring place.

Has anyone who tested positive still gotten checked or had a membrane strip done? I had a successful strip with my son that put me into labor 24 hours later but now knowing I have this looks like that could increase risk of baby contacting it by weakening the membrane. I know risks are low in general & my sister had GBs with 2 pregnancies & still did both procedures but I’m definitely more cautious then she is so just curious what you did/ob recommended.
